Anita Berber Continuity assesment

On Friday we re-created our vision of Anitia Berber.

This is the face chart I chose to re-create as I feel antia would of had messy heavy makeup. From reapplying makeup on top of makeup. The hot lighting thins out the makeup making it smudge. She has smudged lips due to her kissing a male before she performs.

Firstly I cleansed and moisterizer the face. I then applied a primer with my fingers and applied Dior forever foundation on with a duo fibre brush. I then used concealer to hide blemishes and finished by applying a powder then blush on the cheekbones.

I then applied kohl liner all round the eyes and smudged it out. Then I built up a black eyeshadow on the lid to the brow bone and under the eyes. I wanted it to look extremely messy. I then applied a mascara. I then used a dark brown shadow above the brow in a round shape.

For the lips I used a tomatoey red and smudged it round the lips.

For the hair I curled the front section and pinned and backcombed the hair into a bob. 

Continuity.

For my second attempt I found it rather difficult to recreate the exact same look. For television and film I feel as though wigs would be a lot easier to use!

The hair needed to be tucked more securely. I think the makeup looks very similar but I should've applied the lipstick sparingly. It i extremely difficult to recreate the same image it is something I need to work on paying attention to detail with hair. RemRememberinge techniques I used.
