Imitating a picture.

Lottie wanted us to recreate one of Otto Dix's images. She wanted us to layer colours and to just get used to our supra colour pallete. The Supra colour pallete is a grease paint therefore does not re-act to well with heat and tends to slide on the face.

  • Cleanser,moisturizer.
  • Super colour pallet.
  • brushes.
Firstly remove any makeup and make sure the face is clean and cleansed not too greasy, otherwise the product may slip.

We were told to try and imitate the image as closely as possible.

I chose to attempt Otto Dixs portrait. This included choosing your colurs wisely and looking closely and highlights, and shadows.

I felt as though mine looked awful. I blended the colours way too much giving it no dimension. Whereas if I layered the colours it may of looked a lot better. It was extremely challenging copying a painted image.
