What will happen if they if they don't get it?

If Sally does not have her way with Cliff, then she will not get any money from him. If they slept together then their relationship may of not grown into a strong friendship. Possibly it was for the best otherwise the story would not of formed the way it did. Sally would drink extreme measurements of alcohol until she cannot remember her own name, and try her luck with the next gentleman.
